The last loft I had (Back in 1990) I had a trap fitted to the front so the birds to exit/enter the loft. Is this method OK to use when racing and does anyone know where I get the plans or pics so I can build another one ? The last one I built from a book but I cant find this book again.

Thanks

I'm not sure what you would call it DJW, the front of the trap has a hinged door for the birds to exit and above that is a landing board with Bob wires. The birds can be trapped inside or enter the loft if the iternal door is open.

Thanks pjc that link is great.

should be ok for either clocks just adapt it to suit

conventional clocks   stb etc you catch the bird      ets the bird clocks itself when going over a sensor pad

ets prices are about £500 plus    you can pick up a stb for well under £100
