Ulsterman Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 “any ETS trapping system where the bird is recorded before the bird is confined within the trap or loft contravenes Rule 241†so what does 'confined with the trap' mean? does it mean the bird has to go through bobwires first?

Taylorsloft Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 my pigeons can come out after they have been clocked
Ian McKay Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 no you dont need bob wires Steve his rules might be different from SHU
Ulsterman Posted February 14, 2010 Author Report Posted February 14, 2010 thats a quote from the RPRA rulling.

I would say by the way you've described it you would need a set of bob wires between the trap and the pad BUT this is only a proposition put forward so in your shoes I'd sit tight and see what comes out of the AGM

That sounds ok to me because the bird is inside the trap before timed the fact that it can turn and walk back out makes no difference as birds flying open door can also do that. Theses are ok by the rpra http://www.rvwoodcraft.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=378&osCsid=q7cdu5snegvckg429dn5iqelj6
