Just been looking through the pigeon books for sale on Ebay and there is a pictorial for sale from 1975 and one of the write ups is on R & M Venner of street, this edition and another one from 1975 are on sale with a starting bid of £1.50 or you can buy them for £2.00.

Reg and Myrtle Venner were just fantastic fanciers both North and South and very nice people as well, they were very popular figures in the south west and had a record to match any, even that of the immortal Fear Brothers the UK's best ever distance fanciers!!!! Respect to them.

Sorry mate not a chance, winning Barcelona National and Pau Grand National on the same day in 1979, awesome mate and in such a hot bed area, will have to disagree on that one. Fear Brothers of Ckandown will always get my vote!!!

Secound to Fear Brothers of Clandown ;D :) ;D :) ;D

I do know the Fears well as im a clandown boy by birth, i have there original pedigree book and my friend Andy Tarmass has there original breeding books, amazing just how many pigeons they timed from Barcelona, Pau, Marseille, Dax etc.

All joking aside they were all excellent fanciers and all worthy of the title champion.
