T3 clock ERROR

A mate just phoned me up saying he's T3 clock is displaying Error (think he said error 3) has anyone come across this before.

Sounds like a send away job to me.

I know a club member had this, after he sent it off to have a new battery and inserts put in, but cant remember what it was.

in the book it says electronic error, as our clock setter just told me

Do you know if you have to get a printout to clear the error if that could be the cause.

press the D button for print out,repeat 3 times

I’m going to get him to drop the clock of around here, I told him to repeat it three times...................... and he did........... verbally Doh! ;D

section 47 t3 handbook.print out of backup memory.when for one reason or another the clock has been opened before printing or when the display shows "error" on the display , it is possible to print the last 60 registrered recordings . these will be printed in 3x20 recordings. open the clock by turning the clock handle to the left. connect the junior quartzcomputer t3 with the printer .push read button d. then the first print out will happen ,repeat by pressing button d for second and third print out.then the clock should go back to normal , hope this helps,

if your clock says error 3 the clock has been opend the seals taken out +the screws removed this is the way linells know the clock has been tamperd with[ normaly to try + replace the battery] if you are going to the dome i will re set the clock for you ,you have to know the codes before you can reset, roy

He's bringing the clock along to our clock test tomorrow night, I'll see what he has to say and get back to you.
