Hi all just down loaded unikon upate now got a message on club base station, SECURITY ALERT. PLEASE UPDATE RACE ENTRY SENSOR  TO VERSION >=3.9 [V3-5] ANY IDEA WHAT I DO NEXT? All clock updated ok to new version 3.6 ok

Go back onto unikon site and download the 3.9 programme, and all will be well. Then you will be asked to put a code in, thats when you need to call unikon for the code, hope this helps.

i was told by a club sec he had done it last week and thats what happened they were not forceing the point but strongly advising him to take it out so if  something goes wrong in there next update they are giveing it the same as those guys used to do when you bought a television/washing mach from the big stores and we all know they were a rip off but it cost lots of us plenty to find that out

yes they can stick it, but anyway the club equipment belongs to unikon, it is only on loan, ours is anyway, did your club buy the club equipment or was it given to you, on loan as they say

no its not my club archie it was a friend so dont know i would go for the bricon if i was buying jmo

we are faced with the same i have the champ 500

but our cub cant update our clock.

i would have thought that unikon would have supplied a club base station to update both system.

every time there is a update on our champ we have to send it away.

i think only time will tell if all the promises made by the suppliers will be up held now that it has been excepted by all or if they will turn out like the promises made by politicions when they are going for an election only to make all the excuses in the world how things have changed and they cant do it because of this and that

As I have posted before, there are Unikon agents who are members on this site, so why don,t they come on and clear this up?????? :-/

Starting to think may of made a mistake going with unikon, first they put rings up then they are possibley going to charge £65. on the NEXT update in the summer and if you dont pay and update, are they or can they lock the base stations out so you can"t use them? time will tell.

The people who have the bases will have noticed that it comes up on the screen everytime you switch on reminding you to take out this Service and Support contract as its expired.
