Guest stb- Posted March 10, 2010 Report Posted March 10, 2010 Bricon seems a more favoured system but try getting a lead from unikon to enable unikon users to mark on a Bricon system! can you mark a bricon on a unicon club marker Phill
sapper756 Posted March 10, 2010 Author Report Posted March 10, 2010 When i contacted Unikon, i asked the question, "do we need this £65 insurance", and i was told no its optional. I was not advised to take it or given the pro's and con's of taking it or not. So , the question is..... DO UNIKON KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING? and in my opinion, no they dont. They should all be singing from the same hymm sheet and telling everyone what is going on. I cannot accept that we need to insure something that doesnt belong to us. I agree that if malicious damage is done by the club whether it be deliberate or not, then the club is culpable. As sapper says, where is UNIKON when you most need them, knowhere, unless your willing to give them money. Very poor service :-/ I think we should all pm UNIKON and ask for confirmation :-/
pjc Posted March 10, 2010 Report Posted March 10, 2010 can you mark a bricon on a unicon club marker Phill yes, with the correct leads which Bricon will provide if requested!
Guest stb- Posted March 10, 2010 Report Posted March 10, 2010 yes, with the correct leads which Bricon will provide if requested! cheers phill :)
Guest frank dooman Posted March 10, 2010 Report Posted March 10, 2010 yes, with the correct leads which Bricon will provide if requested! i was told that the lead comes supplied free with every ets except the unicon
alex wight Posted March 10, 2010 Report Posted March 10, 2010 I think we should all pm UNIKON and ask for confirmation :-/ Brian, you know like the rest of us that will never happen. How hard can it be to put up a statement on their site beside the updates, clarifying all these questions. It beggars belief, but they have our money now, and no-one cares. :-/

JADE Posted March 10, 2010 Report Posted March 10, 2010 i was told that the lead comes supplied free with every ets except the unicon would tesco supply you with a card that lets you shop in asda? unikon is the No.1 system and the rest would apparently sell their granny to get one over them. and I have no vested interest in unikon at all
Guest stevie-b Posted March 10, 2010 Report Posted March 10, 2010 there is leads available from all manufacturers to make all systems compatable so why do the fish wifes in the washies keep decrying people they need to look in the mirror and get a life when u buy a tele a dvd a fridge or a computer u get a standard warranty and get the option of an extended warranty so why not make use of it like u do with your household goods maybe efforts would be better used to try and premote the sport instead of KILLING it :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/
alex wight Posted March 10, 2010 Report Posted March 10, 2010 if you go to search, put in unikon, and the profile comes up, informing you the last time on line 25th Feb, and the option to send a pm On behalf of all unikon users, i,ll phone them tomorrow to let them know what is being felt by us, and see if they can help in any way. I will let everyone know of the outcome, when i get home from work tomorrow.

I will let everyone know of the outcome, when i get home from work tomorrow. I hope you have better luck than me when I phoned about a problem I had the girl said the guy you want to speak to is on the phone as soon as hes off I will get him to ring you, that was nearly a month ago still waiting.
Ian McKay Posted March 10, 2010 Report Posted March 10, 2010 Well, they'll be getting NO insurance from my club. 50 pence per member willie and your back to square one with you accounts ????
Guest rodders Posted March 10, 2010 Report Posted March 10, 2010 there are times when i have to laff at some of the comments that are made unicon is a good system which we in our club have had no problems with unlike bricon which members have had quite a few problems with and not only in our club if bricon is so much better than unicon why is it when you browse the pigeon sites on the internet you see where people post thanks to mark palmer for helping to sort out prblems how he is allways at the other end of phone to help sort this and that out if bricon is that good why are these people allways on the phone to him
PIGEON_MAN Posted March 10, 2010 Report Posted March 10, 2010 not all systems are compatable (fact) TIP,Keep all systems separate because if you get a problem the one company always blaims the other, saying it must be their equipment.
