elliedee Posted March 29, 2010 Report Posted March 29, 2010 Does any one know if the Unikon ETS systems have to be three way tested. I am hearing several people saying that there clubs are doing this but I don't see how you can three way test this system. My club has yet to do this and as the ets system doesn't come with a three way certificate why would the system need it. Any body have anymore info on this Thanks
alex wight Posted March 29, 2010 Report Posted March 29, 2010 Never heard of such a rule, so therefore our club hasn't carried out anything like the 3 way test. Nor has it been suggested by our Unikon rep.
Guest rodders Posted March 29, 2010 Report Posted March 29, 2010 basicly its a 24hr run not 3 way test
knoxjn Posted March 29, 2010 Report Posted March 29, 2010 have heard it all now what a load of nonsense
mealybug Posted March 29, 2010 Report Posted March 29, 2010 The rule was not implemented as it is unworkable, so you don't need to 3 way test any ETS systems.
demolition man Posted March 29, 2010 Report Posted March 29, 2010 The rule was not implemented as it is unworkable, so you don't need to 3 way test any ETS systems. Just out of interest do you know why its unworkable,

PIGEON_MAN Posted March 29, 2010 Report Posted March 29, 2010 RPRA RULE 234 PRIOR TO RACING ALL ETS CLOCKS MUST BE BROUGHT TO THE CLUB AND SET WITH THE ETS RADIO CLOCK AND STRUCK OFF AFTER 24 HOURS.IN THE CASE OF MEMBERS WISHING TO USE THEIR ETS ELSEWHERE A CERTIFICATE OF WORTHINESS WILL BE ISSUED BY THE OFFICIALS OF THE TESTING ORGANISATION.
PIGEON_MAN Posted March 29, 2010 Report Posted March 29, 2010 T3S, STB QUARTZ AND ANY OTHER QUARTZ HAVE TO BE CHECKED FOR AT LEAST 22 HOURS.

adam owen Posted March 29, 2010 Report Posted March 29, 2010 T3's don't need 3 way testing either t3 do need testing same as any other clock eg stb ect
