wonderd if any body got any tips for me on how far should i send my yearlings we start at minstead 50miles and end at marmande 500 miles any advice would be appreciated :)

depends if you have a experienced team and what you want to do with them , if you just have yearlings and want to build for the future dont push them much over 300 miles if you have an experienced team and can afford to lose a couple push them further at the end of the day its your choice you know how the birds are bred and what there bred for yours rob

Much wisdom in what Rob says. Totally depends what type of birds you have, or what your long term plan is. Are they sprint, middle or distance pigeons ?

just enjoy racing them on a weekly basis,again depends on your depth of squad and type of birds,racing marmande i take it with the  WOESRC.???????? :)

if racing and weather are kind,you might just get a couple of yearlings to marmande. ;) hope 2010 goes well for you. :) :)

When at Oxford any yearlings planned for distance always went to Nantes 315m or they didn't make it as 2 yr olds.

Our yearling last year did Saintes twice in seven days !!! 517 miles X 2
