OLDYELLOW Posted April 15, 2010 Report Posted April 15, 2010 simple realy white is just lack of pigment
kirky Posted April 15, 2010 Report Posted April 15, 2010 simple realy white is just lack of pigment i think the same maybe due to the age of the parents
peterpau Posted April 15, 2010 Report Posted April 15, 2010 I was of the opinion you tend to get more white with inbreeding. Only what I've heard.

yorkie Posted April 15, 2010 Report Posted April 15, 2010 a lot of tipplers have the odd white tail feather or white flights, it does not mean they are not pure bred, i have seen loads of gordon hughes birds with white tails
Guest Freebird Posted April 15, 2010 Report Posted April 15, 2010 Just a throw back. Somewhere along the breeding line there has been a bird with white in tail. Some white is just a lack of pigment but there are other genetic traits that cause white i.e. bronze. You also get a ressesive white just like ressesive red it covers the true colour of the bird. Is there any colour on the feather at all and what is the quill colour.
