One of the customers at the stables just came to the house to get me when she found a pile of feathers and some blood outside her stable, ran out but there was nothing to be seen then a young lass said a bird had flown in to the stable so went in and it was a pigeon sitting on the rafters, got it down and it's back and neck are badly ripped away, it is now in a resting cage hoping it will be all right but does not look great at the moment but I will leave it be and see how it gets on we like to give the birds every chance to recover before we have to put them down .

Just hoping now it returns to try and finish off it's lunch ;)

From my experience the chances of doo ever performing again after a hit  is much less then it  was  before it was done in and don't really think it will perform again to the best of it's ability . Unfortunately the best thing you can do is let percy get on with the  cull  then get the bird into a larrsen trap and within 24 hours hey presto. It is the only way to do it unfortunately because it will continue to strike as it knows this is easy and will never ever go away as long as it's getting it's own way  . You will then get peace of mind at least for a wee while . Anyone want advice for what it's worth just send me a pm
