just ask me Posted August 25, 2008 Report Posted August 25, 2008 when buying birds i have bought them without seeing lots of times the most important thing is the person thrust hard to find but when u do ure onto a winner
Merlin Posted August 26, 2008 Report Posted August 26, 2008 Just ask Me i am singing off the same song sheet as you this morning, and again agree its the pedigree of the fancier you should be interested in when buying, not the birds.
joe61 Posted August 26, 2008 Report Posted August 26, 2008 Ronny De Dobbelaer, Roland Janssen based but these are good birds no doubt, gangster can provide more info on these, he can put you in touch with RDD . oh every day a bright one, oh happy days
bewted Posted August 26, 2008 Report Posted August 26, 2008 jakjak on here has some fantastic roland janssen,,,,i have been there and seen these birds with my own eyes,,,,if you want janssens that ooze quality and with the looks too,,,,,i reccomend you see jakjak on this site !!!!!!
bewted Posted August 26, 2008 Report Posted August 26, 2008 and a lot cheaper than louella too for quality !!!
Roland Posted August 26, 2008 Report Posted August 26, 2008 Often smile when the poster says who has great birds etc. For that doesn't mean that they will, or indeed have any for sale. Merlin / Just ask me 100% right. Must have a repore and mutual respect for the seller. Unforunately where there is money there is crooks, and Many also feel that as they paid a lot of money, they feel it is quite reasonable to sell of when proven crap. Yes, they maybe, just maybe a decent throw back amongst them!
Guest strapper Posted August 26, 2008 Report Posted August 26, 2008 best tip for anyone new ..i would say go to someone who is winning well in ur area. pigeons who are good winners DONT always breed winners! and losers DONT always breed losers! louella,s are a good source of r/janseens but remember there were a few guys over here winning with them and breeding them b4 louella,s had them. trouble is ...there are fanciers who sell roland janseens, but are they really wot ur buying,u pay ur money and u take the chance.

Roland Posted August 26, 2008 Report Posted August 26, 2008 Louella must be a paramount choice in as much as you will be getting the 'Blood' off the real champs, and not 'Pillow Twaddle' and at a realistic price too.

Roland Posted August 26, 2008 Report Posted August 26, 2008 Probably better that 95% of the 'Fodder' that most buy that clutter up others lofts and Town / Church roofs. Double Grnd children winning not only 'Nationals' but an international. Ok a mite more that £99 nearer £175, which is still less than £30 a bird. Sure there are a lot that haven't won... but i treal terms I'd wager far better %tage than buying of names and the best flyer in the Fed etc.

Roland Posted August 26, 2008 Report Posted August 26, 2008 No! very smaller percentage of y/b's have anything to do with Louella. Have to breed a few hundred thousand for that I guess.
jimmy white Posted August 26, 2008 Report Posted August 26, 2008 and not one person mentions management :),,,,,,,,,,,,just breeds,,,,,,what is the pigeon game comming too, roland jansens, ,,,roland buttas ;D ;D this that and the next thing,,,,,,,,,twaddle,,[sales guff ;D ;D main thing is [in my opinion] get your pigeons from someone who had kept won and raced pigeons for many years,,[irrespective of so called breed ],,,,,,,,and still wins ,,,,,and find out his method p.s a question i put to a really top flier, winning regular , do you find the pure ,,,,,,,,,,s, best ,,,,,,his answer" do you mean for selling or racing,",, i said" racing",, his answer was , "pure??? for selling ", "crossed for racing" [hybrid vigour]
