whats more important when buying a pigeon

out of the options above the most important things to me are

Option  (2 )  (3)and then maybe Option (4)

2 AND 5 WOULD BE THE OBVIOUS,  the pedigree well there a lot of that put on ltoilet paper and flushed away every day ;) ;) ;D ;D

to me number 1 you could have the best bred bird but theres only one that makes it a good one or bad one and that the basket. just my views

just te pigeon a breed or breeder means nothing
dont think i would by a pigeon if i didnt rate the breeder :-/ :-/

The pigeon is certainly the most important.. then the breeder..

 

To an extent the breed could also be considered important.. tho a good doo is a good doo whether you call it a Janssen a Busscharet or a Van Whatever..

your missing the point Jb ,  it could be a good looking pigeon  but if you couldnt trust the breeder how would you no whot it was ,  it could be a dipp show cross m8.

 

Trust in the breeder got to be high on the list

I agree mate.. but if i went to a top loft, and he handed my an ugly big awkward doo i didn't like i wouldn't buy it...

thats why we say breeder is important aswell so when he hands you the stormer you can count on it thats whot it is , ;) and no a manufactured good looker ;)

it depends if you want to race it or is it for the stock loft lets face it we all think we can tell a good pigeon when we handle it but how many times do you put winning races in a show only to be nowhere to 6 birds that will struggle at 50mls so do we realy know yes we can pick the type of bird that suits you 9 times out often that choice will be a likeness to your good birds so its the type we pick but lots of good racers dont handle well if its for stock its got to be the ped. and breeder  but there is 1 missing for raceing thats the basket

Like you said earlier tho.. he'd have to be a trusted breeder or you wouldn't be there in the first place..

MY NICE SHOW DOOS HAVE DONE OK RACING AND THEY HAVE BRED WINNERS TAE :P :P :P :P :P
