Guest lenwadebob Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 Try this, or go to search and type in ROUNDABOUT http://forum.pigeonbasics.com/m-1263085723/s-13/highlight-roundabout/#num01
Guest bakes Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 a small detailed rutein for roundabout what i got told from top national flyer over the phone hens in a section on box perch's or v perch's cocks in a section on there own in nestboxs let the cocks out for exercise move the hens over to the nest box seection when the cocks trap back in they they will trap into the hen section let the hens outs move the cocks back there next box section so you constantly one out move one in move morning of basket let hens out shut there section up let them trap back they will only be able to go into the cock section keep them there with the cocks for an hr then move what birds you sending basket up and go to basketing when the birds are libbed and arrive back from race the bird will have its partner waiting for it one thing i got told roundabout hen on chipping egg or big youngster will break the street down to get home they will compete against windowhood cocks and hold there own most times and the flyer that told me this is a very high nolidge flyer in nfc mnfc some think i be trying when i race my hens over the water its a good system if your interested in raceing both cocks or hens but i be mostly raceing cocks inland hens over the water all the best

budgie Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 The worst thing you can do is let the Hens back into the Nestbox Section during the Week. They go of the Boil and only let them into the section with the Cocks 1hr before basketing for the race.

Guest bakes Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 one problem with roundabout is you have to keep to a stricked rutein each day you could get a away doing windowhood or natural but not with roundabout good syatem if you have got the space and the time on your hands thats why theres not many flyers raceing roundabout now i no of 3 local flyers that would not race any other system other than rounabout mostly all race both cocks and hen but mostley look at the hens for the water races always on chipping eggs or if raceing the cocks back to eggs or a big youngster all the best
