Light System

Has anyone tried the Light System with their young birds, if so how does it compare to the Dark System?

i work light system think it better than dark and easier . fitted in well with work as i could get youngsters out at night .

Budgie I watched the samson brothers light system video. Very good video with all the info there, E bay purchase.

I have been told by a very good fancier that the flights can become brittle. He had 2 i think darkies on the day 400 miles and one light yb next day with a broken flight.

It does look wasier to do if you can not get the blinds up and down due to not being at the lofts. I am thinking of investing in automatic curtain openers/ closers to sort that one out.
