Problem Cock

I put eight of my young cocks in their new section a couple of weeks ago, all seemed well with each cock choosing a box of his own, I introduced the 8 chosen hens and after a few days 7 of the cocks settled down with their hens I had allocated to them, all apart from the one cock who just kept battering the hen after about a week I decided to try him with a different hen but he seemed even more agresive so after a few days I thought I will try a third hen, I thought it was third time lucky as he seemed to like her, he immediatly tried to tread her and was far less aggressive,  the problem now is one of the other cocks keeps taking over his box even when the hen he likes is in the other side of his box behind bars, he spends most of his time on the loft floor, any ideas !  thanx in advance Chris.

what could be the problem his confidence is gone

this cock could be after losing his box lock in the cock that robing his box and and leave the the the the cock that losing his box open he could be after losing his confidence what i do is i put another cock in his box and while there fighting pull out the cock that doesn't own the box by the tail the cock that did int have confidence will roll in his like his mike Tyson and will fight out other cocks then give it a two days or so then leave out the cock that robing his box and pull him out by the tail again the box owner will be gaining in confidence until finally there will most likely will be a all out fight even in some cases blood shed but once u build up the confidence of the box owner he should be ok

hope this makes sense

Yes makes good sense, I think your spot on about his confidence as he sits on the floor looking dejected, I will keep a close eye on him over the next few days.

even if u use a cock that not from the loft that this cock is in andhe should be able to beat him easilly just throw him into the box then out by the tail belive me it works  ;)

sorry i dont think they will settle i hate this time of year for just that reason it happens all the time then when you think its setteled down and the eggs are in the bowl it will start again broken eggs y/birds trampled its normanly the second round before it settles down you just have to try and guard against it as much as you can lock up the spare cocks box and make sure he is paired up in a spare section and when you have some spare time introduce him into the sec. again with his box open and be handy with a stick just to nudge him off any other box or another cock off his

Put an elastic band round his legs and let the cock whos box it is beat the S**t out of him once or twice like that and he will have learned

This works very well. Keep the legs about 1" apart with the elastic band.
