red1chq3 Posted August 9, 2008 Author Report Posted August 9, 2008 Thanks guys, what about these Roland Janseens?, Louella seems to be pushing hard at them and others, seem to be flavor of the month.
red1chq3 Posted August 9, 2008 Author Report Posted August 9, 2008 I alos relise that there are a lot of breads that are claimed to all rounders, you knoe "they win form 60 to 500 miles", but i would be really interested in looking for out and out sprint pigeonsup to say 200/250 miles.
Guest blythy1 Posted August 9, 2008 Report Posted August 9, 2008 thats all rene van de weyers are sprinters.
red1chq3 Posted August 9, 2008 Author Report Posted August 9, 2008 DO YA KNOW WHO IS DOIN WELL WITH THEM?
jimmy white Posted August 9, 2008 Report Posted August 9, 2008 Any strain have look at the results and see who is consistently winning then when you made your choice try and find out much as you can about them and who is doing well with pigeons bred by them i re-iterate rose remarks , but would also add ,, try and find out ,how your selected fancier, manages them , for me this is the all important ,especialy in sprint races
Guest blythy1 Posted August 9, 2008 Report Posted August 9, 2008 DO YA KNOW WHO IS DOIN WELL WITH THEM? ian stafford was doing very well with them.
just ask me Posted August 9, 2008 Report Posted August 9, 2008 i know there are a few winng big with roland jannens but for the amount that have been sold over the last few years should there not be more wining tne rene van der weyers seem to winning in most cases i say i most cases so dont get on to me with the wind behind them unfountlly there have been no strain in the last few years too swep the country like the way the staf van reets bussharts did in the last 20years the soonjens are flying well in all regions and i like to see that in a strain of pigeon so in other wards not just winning in one area
Whats it called Cumbernauld Posted August 10, 2008 Report Posted August 10, 2008 Best to try a few, cause one that works for some, may not work for others.Environment and other issues just as important as strain of pigeon. Start with a few and prove which one is best for you and your loft management Happy Days Rab Smith
peterpau Posted August 10, 2008 Report Posted August 10, 2008 The soontjens from John Sheader are wiping the floor, in our local club up to around 300 mile. Then it comes in to my territory. ;)
