hepste Posted June 18, 2009 Report Posted June 18, 2009 Yes it was from same ip add but not me it was my partner we have 5 pc did not know we could not use same ip until Richard said so we asked to it be removed before fifer i noticed you can confirm with richard if you want. Hepste i would also like to know your real name to have integrity of your posts You can pm me if you want Jeremy, I wish to remain anonymous, well within the rules of this forum. I choose not to pm you. Anonymity provides benefits for everyone, not least the fact that some people are able to speak their mind without fear of prejudical treatment at some time in the future. My integrity is absolute and is not compromised by the fact that I wish to remain anonymous. I am glad you have at last offered an explanation. It seems that the other person using the same computer as yourself (and presumably posting without your knowledge), by sheer coincidence, has the same mispelling and case errors as yourself. You may have had the same English teacher at school I suppose. I note that this defence is not uncommon in many cases that come to court, and has regularly had excellent results for any person accused. I do not of course put you in that category. For the future, I suggest you use a secure personal password for logging in, that nobody else has access to.
Jeremy Posted June 18, 2009 Report Posted June 18, 2009 and yet the poll still is against the idea :-/ 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) Well i expect you have been round every ip add you can find ;D Thats why a poll on here is rubbish as some say they have 26 ips ;D Take it to your region see the votes there ;D

Roland Posted June 18, 2009 Report Posted June 18, 2009 Think it is there only way to go. Have been trying for quite some time for this very happening. We need to be moving towards helping the very idea of Corporative concerns competing against each other. The work done via Loft managers etc. as the One loft races are.... or in calhoots. They'd be required to purchase and buy. Have point structures and prizes flying against each other. The clubs / Feds carry on racing per norm. The one loft then to be feried, transported via the Feds etc. Costs of course , or to a large extent, picked up by the Corporative One loft race sydicates. THATis just for starters. Means cheaper racing. More compition and merit. Then also very many worthwhile fingers to dip into pies. have put all this up before a few times.... yet to get it into focus with many.

Guest spin cycle Posted June 18, 2009 Report Posted June 18, 2009 to be honest i voted NO...but perhaps that is because i'm not a fan of 1 loft races. if the birds are properly documented, marked etc ( which it sounds they are)...then, IMO, there is no real problem with them being raced. presumably other members/clubs that feel it unfair can make representation through the 'fed', if they so wish. finally if members do not wish to reveal their identities they should not be 'browbeaten' into doing so.
Jeremy Posted June 18, 2009 Report Posted June 18, 2009 No browbeaten here ;D I would love you to come to ;D What do you say Spin Cycle ? More the Merrier ;D

hepste Posted June 18, 2009 Report Posted June 18, 2009 Jeremy, I do not hide behind my computer, or anybody else's computer or psuedonym for that matter - well only when the wife is telling me it's my turn to do the washing up - I duck quickly, and get under the desk. In fact, I regularly attend meetings for all kinds of matters, from parish councils, to pigeon clubs. Without fear of contradiction, I am not known for witholding my viewpoint. On occassions however, when I have the opportunity, it makes a refreshing change to do things a different way - as long as it is within the rules of course! Thanks for the suggestion of a meeting. I am however, genuinely, and honestly very busy at the moment. Perhaps some time in the future when it would be mutually convenient would be preferable.
Mixxy Posted June 18, 2009 Report Posted June 18, 2009 Jeremy, keep up the good work! Bit off topic, but do those De Klaks race down to 600 mile? Someone told me they did, very well!
