rooster Posted October 29, 2008 Report Posted October 29, 2008 Really this is not the place for this discussion as we are spoiling Someones thread The East Cleavland fed is not the best place in the Unc to buy birds from that's just my opinion But that's not to say all of the lads from there have Bad birds as they don't a lot have very good birds It's just the east Cleveland fed has a 80% chance if you Fly there to top the combine and that's calculated from Years and years that's how good of a spot it is This years the first time in about 40-50 years that they Have not topped the combine !! you are full of sh** j, bambling , how many times have you topped your combine ,, little Micky mouse combine ,, results please ,
Guest j.bamling Posted October 29, 2008 Report Posted October 29, 2008 I am stating facts rooster the east cleavland fed is a hot bed for topping the combine And it's not because they have got the best birds !! And that micky mouse combine your talking about Had some good flyers in it - Keith wren now skinningrove and Moore bros 1st UNC which both lofts Could not top the Durham Combine !!! So like I am saying loft position Plays a big part ps - we have the record from our fed for topping it 6 times and 6 x 2nds which it should be 7 x 1st as we were Cheated out of 1 How many times have you topped the combine rooster & I think most combines are micky mouse compared To the unc simple as that !!!

So like I am saying loft position Plays a big part ps- we have the record in our fed for topping the combine 6 x 1st & 6 x 2nd which should be 7 x 1st as we were cheated Out of 1x1st & our best queens cup position is 27th open Anyway how many times have you won the combine rooster ?
BLACK W F Posted October 29, 2008 Report Posted October 29, 2008 if you think hes that good he would win any where what about a move to Newcastle try flying from there lets see what he can do over thirty years ago the late great Ayton Marshall stated it is pure madness to fly in a position this far off the coast may be he would put up the performances like John Mcwan in coxslodge i doubt it very much position means all
ken Posted October 29, 2008 Report Posted October 29, 2008 try flying to hexham and you would be lucky to get 1 fed card a year i was 5th w d a and 9 th open in the queens cup and i still never toped the fed 17,500 birds in to a north west wind 430 ml +with a yearlind on the day
Guest j.bamling Posted October 29, 2008 Report Posted October 29, 2008 I agree with the last 2 posts I am the furthest west by 3 mile in our fed and section in unc Thats why we have moved back into the Durham Combine Try telling east clevland lofts who can spit into the sea that they have a good location I know Keith wren moved from Brotton (Roosters club) to skinningrove just because it's Nearer the sea and a better spot to top the UNC I agree some of the preformances in the Newcastle west fed and others up there Are fantastic R Gorel is another 1st UNC up there !! And Ken you are in the back of beyond up in hexham You do very well to get what you get !!
Guest Paulo Posted October 29, 2008 Report Posted October 29, 2008 paul stobbs iveston county durham He gets his off Frank Sheader doesn't he so I would go direct to Frank if I wanted some.

ChrisMaidment08 Posted October 29, 2008 Report Posted October 29, 2008 He gets his off Frank Sheader doesn't he so I would go direct to Frank if I wanted some. if he gets them from frank then he gets them from mike crooks as frank bought all unc winners back ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
BLACK W F Posted October 29, 2008 Report Posted October 29, 2008 what j bambling says is 100 per cent correct that is why many years ago the unc split like in any club fed combine there is good positions and bad like fanciers but in these days people look for strains not like in years past when advice given to new starters was buy from the guy who flys out of position but who is always top of the list
Guest Paulo Posted October 29, 2008 Report Posted October 29, 2008 personally gladdo I'd go for Forbes. Pound for pound he's a better flyer than stobbs sends less and wins just as much. That suggests to me his quality control is better than stobbs and hence he will have better birds.
Guest Paulo Posted October 29, 2008 Report Posted October 29, 2008 you are full of sh** j, bambling , how many times have you topped your combine ,, little Micky mouse combine ,, results please , Bit harsh! How many times have you topped your combine then? I take it you live by the seaside as well and fly in the upnorth. Good loft location and wind is a major part of pigeon racing FACT! especially for the shorter races luckily the channel is a great leveller.
BLACK W F Posted October 29, 2008 Report Posted October 29, 2008 Rooster i think your comments against j bambling are very nasty he has stated his point of view i do not know where you fly from but sounds like your that tight to the coast if you fell out of bed it would be into the sea JB performances are top class why not put yours up to judge against his out of position turns and before you suggest that i am one of his mates praising him up i am not and have never met or mailed him before but know good performances when i see them
rooster Posted October 29, 2008 Report Posted October 29, 2008 if i upset you j bambling with my comments i apologies ,but the fact is mike crooks 3x1st unc were won only sending a average of about 8 pigeons thats the reason i think his performances were good mike flys at staiths and yes staiths is the best position to be in in the unc with west in the wind next best skinningrove but the same can be said about other feds in the unc with s.east wind no i have not won the unc my best poss are 4th 5th 8th unc in the last 3 years i have put 3 pigeons in breeder buyers 1 in marske b/b 1st winning £4,000 1 in sacriston b/b 1st winning £1,500 1 in pigeonland b/b 1st winning £350 ,
Guest j.bamling Posted October 29, 2008 Report Posted October 29, 2008 look Rooster mate you have not upset me with what You have said !! I never said anything bad about Mike crooks all I said is he has a very good spot Which you agree with !!
Guest gladdo Posted October 29, 2008 Report Posted October 29, 2008 ok all take a deep breath all ...i only asked and started this thread for answers .... no need to get nasty on j bambling ...everybody has there own veiw but dont let this get personal please because it makes me feel like a bad egg...i had great season last year and just want to up the gears a bit more for this year thats all ... if the birds dont do it i blame myself //// person who blames the birds not himself is bad loft manager , thats my veiw and this was my first year !!!!!!!!!
ChrisMaidment08 Posted October 29, 2008 Report Posted October 29, 2008 wellcome to the world of jelousey ;D ;Dserious tho we all think everyone else has advantage but did these flyers move there to gain it no think not
