Wiley Posted October 9, 2008 Report Posted October 9, 2008 lead to believe Billy Lynch had/has some of the best of these when he moved down to Kent, and knowing Billy he would only buy out of his best pigeons!

fletch Posted October 9, 2008 Report Posted October 9, 2008 looked earlier seemed a bit leggy to me but it will be results that count!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
cokacola Posted October 9, 2008 Report Posted October 9, 2008 I thought some looked quite nice, I like the Cheq W/F Cock for example, but I always have unusual taste
Roland Posted October 9, 2008 Report Posted October 9, 2008 dose dean not race/breed van reets I believe this to be correct. Dean packed up racing for the second time when he moved to the west side.. Says you can't sale and race pigeons unless your birds are winning........ Was the first proper for SVR's of course. Dave Allen may have had a gift pair first like, but Dean was the first. He was also a Leon Boer man first off, where his birds flew outstandingly..
Lennut Tar Posted October 10, 2008 Report Posted October 10, 2008 I had a look...thought they were ugly pigeons :-/ So what !!!!!!!!! :) Pigeons are just like pigeon flyers etc, many of us here ??????? I'm sure, are in the ugly class ;) myself included. But for some strange reason ;D ;D at times we win. Enjoy.

swilcox Posted October 10, 2008 Report Posted October 10, 2008 Dean Pallet phoned me 10 times last year to find out what birds i thought would be the future, i had alot of experience with the Van Lints as i auctioned a team of them at Telford last year, they not in demand by Belguim or Dutch fanciers hence the reason they came to these shores with such ease. Unfortunitly i dont think Van Lint has anywhere near so good pigeons as the fancier where i did invest my money. Its more fancier than pigeon i believe hence the reason there not so popular on his own doorstep. They at that time were at that time 250 euro (190 pounds) each direct so 1000 for 6 not bred by Van Lint looks poor value in my book. Stuart Wilcox

Dry your eyes mate! :'( I'm sure my 11 year old daughter didnt mean to upset you! ;D ;D However, I just scrolled through the pigeons myself, and see her point! They aint pretty.......but OBVIOUSLY they are from a winning family. We keep pretty pigeons, but it keeps my kids, and their school friends interested.
schouwman71 Posted October 10, 2008 Report Posted October 10, 2008 Theres always been 1 price in belguim and holland and another for this country, why ,because most of us carnt see whats happening there so what we see in the homing world we tend to believe to be correct, ime affraid it isnt, just alot of auctioneers bulling there pigeons up to make money, not talking about you stuart,i know you have sold a lot of good pigeons at very good prices, and what youve just stated on your post i agree with you. les
