Guest Posted September 13, 2008 Report Posted September 13, 2008 hi but l;ike my post a minute ago what if they are ets pigeons what would they do then I honestly don't know mate! :-/
Guest redwhiteblue Posted September 13, 2008 Report Posted September 13, 2008 just a though but what if a pigeon or pigeons escaped from a transporter from a club who used ets how would they reactive a ring etc I know that in Belgium that the baskets in the transporter are fitted with an ets sensor pad that registers the rings as the pigeons leave the baskets. If there is a pigeon missing that pigeon is disqualified. p.s. it shows you how it works on one of the ets videos, which i think is unicon.
bluewhiteflight Posted September 13, 2008 Report Posted September 13, 2008 i suppose the only thing they could do in an emergency is rubber ets pigeons also

pjc Posted September 13, 2008 Report Posted September 13, 2008 If ets birds were rubbered then the owner could be asked to produce the rubber from the bird to confirm it was on the transporter.
bluewhiteflight Posted September 13, 2008 Report Posted September 13, 2008 yes pjc i suppose that would be a way round it
REDCHEQHEN Posted September 13, 2008 Report Posted September 13, 2008 The convoyer has to record all life ring numbers as per rules
Guest milkyal Posted September 14, 2008 Report Posted September 14, 2008 Dont shoot me down for this but i am not sure whats going on. I know the UNC re-rubbered as birds escaped? Now are you say that they re-rubbered because someone is at it? Because if that was the reason it was all over this site before the birds were liberated, so if anyone was at it they would have known a set-up was in place. Logic is that the would have held back ?
Guest Gareth Rankin Posted September 15, 2008 Report Posted September 15, 2008 Hi Delboy, i don't know about other organizations, bu the UNC have done this in the past to catch cheats. About 5-6 years back i think! They only re-rubbered a certain Fed at the time though, as it wasn't a UNC race! They caught him and he is gone for good! Lost much more than his credability the same scrote! And rightly so! Dave Seems to be only up here in Scotland that no pigeons get re-rubbered especially if your the Vice president of that organisation. >

Hi Milkyal, No mate, the UNC re-rubbered through escapees on this occasion! The comment regarding the re-rubbering through cheats was answering a question on an earlier post, that actually happened several years ago! My apologies if this caused confusion. All the best Dave
