degi Posted December 5, 2008 Report Posted December 5, 2008 indian; rogan josh. fantails white & silver kings
Guest ljb107 Posted December 5, 2008 Report Posted December 5, 2008 i don't see much point using kings because they are slow at reproducing, its normally just wood pigeons.
Tony C Posted December 5, 2008 Report Posted December 5, 2008 Many moons ago I used to work with an elderly Philippino guy that as a lad bred King pigeons, they were bred just for eating (funnily enough he’s name was Percy). He told me they kept them in small bamboo type cages to restrict their movement, this was done to keep the meat as tender as possible, they were culled at the squab stage.
