fair point then just looked a bit front heavy but a full feed will do just that , be nice to see when has an empty crop , but a nice bird no doubt about it

I'd like to know how many of them were in the result from the gold cup race in the NFC this year???

horses for courses Alf, they are kept for the pen and not there racing ability but they will fly if you want them to and I have won with them in the basket!

I never sent any show doos to our gold cup race but i sent 2 racers and got them in not too bad time although they didnae make the result :( :( :( :( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

No such breed as "Show Racer", they are racers bred to improve feather quailty and conformation!They will also fly and I have raced them to 460 mile!

no, mine don't fly out now.

I've got a few crosses in the race loft this year but havn't flown the show racers out now for nearly 20yrs.

I only know John through the shows and not sure how well he does racing but the birds he gets in the supreme champion class at Blackpool are flown birds.

i could show a flown bird at Blackpool aswell as they say it only has to fly 80mls ;) ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I have aquired a yellow (red) kirkpatrick hen, lovely looking bird.  Just wondering the best partner for her really, I have a blue cheq kirkpatrick cock bird, would that pairing produce more of the yellows possibly?

 

would i be right in saying that any yellows this pair produced,, would be hens??    b,check cock paired with yellow hen

yup yellows would be hens and silvers also hens but reds and blue chequers be cocks
