pigeonman007 Posted January 23, 2009 Report Posted January 23, 2009 Has anyone bought any ybs from the above in the past, how have you found the service, are they good value? Looking at the ad in BHW this week, tempted to try a few. Can they be sexed at 20days? as there is an option for cocks or hens
Guest j.bamling Posted January 23, 2009 Report Posted January 23, 2009 my mate bought 6 x van rign klockes (spelling is wrong lol) he did well with them 4 out of the 6 scored in the fed as ybs !!! he only picked that breed because he hadn't heard of him
pigeonman007 Posted January 23, 2009 Author Report Posted January 23, 2009 Nbs ybs worth a go at that price Was thinking of the Tournier ybs, are they always grizzles?
OLDYELLOW Posted January 23, 2009 Report Posted January 23, 2009 there mainly grizzles if the old lines
DeDarren Posted January 23, 2009 Report Posted January 23, 2009 A fella in our club bought 6 Janssens, and was shocked to receive all light red cheqs as he was expecting blues and cheqs and wasn't particularely fond of reds, but he did so well with them he went back there for 3-4 seasons til he packed in. They carded week after week for him. I think one of the big 1 loft winners in the UK last year was either a direct NBS Vandenabeele, or bred from 2 direct NBS youngsters from the year before? We're thinking about trying 6 this year, it's a toss up between the Janssens, Van Dyckes or Lou Wouters. Like Old Yellow says they're definitely worth a go at that price
gangster Posted January 23, 2009 Report Posted January 23, 2009 bubbles won the europa race was bred at the nat/breeding station now owned by mr&mrs howman ...

pigeonman007 Posted January 23, 2009 Author Report Posted January 23, 2009 Out of interest does the £35 delivery get them delivered to me, or is that just for getting them into the UK?

pjc Posted January 23, 2009 Report Posted January 23, 2009 Think the £35 is to deliver to you and not to get them to the UK, the price of the birds includes shipping to Uk as they come over to Colin in large batches for distribution to the purchasers.
OLDYELLOW Posted January 23, 2009 Report Posted January 23, 2009 well this is my Tournier i bought from the natural breeding station inbred on both sides to Black Jack 7 1st up to Barcelona on pedigree
