SU transfer

the £1.50 transfer fee can i send it via cheque, payable to the scottish homing union ? or do i have to get a postal order ???

thanx shadow, just checking as iv already had the thing sent back once for not including the £1.50 (nowhere on the transfer did it tell me there was a fee and the fancier who gave me the bird didnt mention it either : So i want to get it right this time  ;D

IN THE MIDDLE OF THE TRANSFER SHEET IN BOLD BLACK WRITING IT TELLS YOU THERE IS A £1.50 CHARGE PER TRANSFER SHEET, UNLES IT HAS BEEN A VERY OLD TRANSFER FORM THAT YOU WERE GIVEN

Don't forget 2 stamps with your cheque.

better if you just use your own rings save a bit of money

trust me i wont be doing this again, but the ring in question came with a pigeon attached   so transfer is a must im afraid  ;D i new about the stamps bit, which was what i presumed was to cover postage, but not the £1.50 admin.

 

if thats all thats required i will post it off tommorow  

 

ps tammy i will also re-attempt to send rings this time in a fort kox type padded envelope

Personally I felt you asked reasonable questions as someone who had been involved in the transfer process for the 1st time Sharon.

 

Unfortunately others appear to have chosen your query as yet another bandwagon and while they in the main asked reasonable questions in a reasonable manner, in my opinion it was a waste  of time.  This after all is the pigeonbasics website, not the SHU and  the only forum or people who could answer these queries (on SHU finances) was SHU AGM or SHU itself.
