REDCHEQHEN Posted February 21, 2007 Report Posted February 21, 2007 First race was a holdover and birds returned to club ( deflated) The race took place the following week and we were 9th club - but took the 50p pool, the 2nd race we were 2nd club 322 birds, 7th fed 2208 birds - and never scored another point the rest of the season............... :-/ :-/
Guest TAMMY_1 Posted February 22, 2007 Report Posted February 22, 2007 p.s dont really understand the voting set up?? ??) snap! our first race , [ me and my son ] we were last but when our first bird landed we were over the moon, you would have thought we had won the biggest race in the world, we could not believe how the bird had found its way home, and the feeling was the same for every bird that landed that day
crazy pigeon boy Posted February 22, 2007 Report Posted February 22, 2007 on my first race i came 2nd to last around 40 mins behind the winner on my 2nd race i came 7th and was around 10mins behind and my 3rd race i came 1st club 3rd fed so i think it depends on how fast the birds learn and how much training they get
