Guest Posted January 28, 2008 Report Posted January 28, 2008 Fantastic pigeons Les, i don't think Louella have pigeons now as good as what they were when these were about! I used to read about these all of the time, Arjan, Irma, Eddy Merckx, Astrid, Jonge Witoger, Stamvater, Sheer Elegance, Skyleader, Jonge Witoger, Golden Ball, Le Bon Reproductuer, Kimberley, Valentin, Aachen, etc.......... Truly great pigeons! Some of my best birds and fondest memories in the game are with these lines! I currently have a loan of an old cock bird through Arjan now, a real ace producer. Hope he fills!
schouwman71 Posted January 28, 2008 Author Report Posted January 28, 2008 yes bud, these lines were the real mc,coy i had all of these lines way back in 1986-1993,bredloads of good pigeons, pity i didnt realise how good they really were back then,i definatly would have maintained a family of them, things you dont realise and before you know it there gone. Les
Roland Posted January 28, 2008 Report Posted January 28, 2008 Stamvater was my favourite pigeon of all time. - still is - Never was able to afford any though lol. Red Dragon lofts had / have Stamvater's line, tried several times to buy some off them ... they never ever answered the blumming phone, so missed out there again ... ah well.
Guest chrisss Posted January 28, 2008 Report Posted January 28, 2008 i am sure honeysuckle lofts used to "do" the old lines i have no idea if they still do
sammy Posted January 28, 2008 Report Posted January 28, 2008 crossed them with the norbert norman pigeons and van hee and was geting them out the lastb races with ease ;D

Les Aye Les, exactly my sentiments, i wish i had them now! They were the business. I had a g/son of the Stamvater, bred and raced by Valentin Muller, had 21 prizes for him, he was something special!
