Guest cloudview Posted February 8, 2008 Report Posted February 8, 2008 joined last year , brilliant can,t fault the club , very pleased . only one drawback for northern fanciers , we have,nt got thebirds fit enough for the first race it being 330 miles to me im speaking for myself of coarse
mickmcgrevy Posted February 9, 2008 Report Posted February 9, 2008 joined this year, and yes some may say that it is a little early for the first channel race for the new northern section, but there it is, thats the programme so you have to work with it. I think its about 323 miles to me Rotherham. It will be the first race for my birds, and all being well, I will be sending the lot, 50 ish. Good luck to everyone Mick

ribble Posted February 9, 2008 Report Posted February 9, 2008 Mr Charlton, have you found out where the marking ststion is? I think it could be Middleton area.Let us know if you can i'm looking to join aswell.
mickmcgrevy Posted February 10, 2008 Report Posted February 10, 2008 P Charlton, the breeding of the birds is a bit of a mix and match now, just what I considered to be good distance birds blended together.
mickmcgrevy Posted February 10, 2008 Report Posted February 10, 2008 Rose, i agree with you it is difficult, like I said in earlier post, thats the programme so we just have to get on with it, not a problem for me.
p charlton Posted February 10, 2008 Author Report Posted February 10, 2008 mick have you any tips on distance races
