Best fancy birds to use as trappers

Can any one tell me what the best fancy birds to use as trappers for my young birds are??? I have never used any but may give a try as the nieghbours moan when i blow my whistle.

Stewart, have you thought about using a silent dog whistle. The birds will hear it but your neighbours wont.

Try any of the well sought after "fancy" families, (including your own ) THE SELECTION IS ALMOST UNLIMITED, VAN DER EU. ETC. AND THE YORKSHIRE RIPPERS.NEVER TRIED THE EAST COAST, PROFESIONALS. BUT IM SURE THEY WILL DRAG ANYTHING DOWN. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

i suppose a fantail would be best [but maybe fanciers wouldnt  want to buy any white birds off you  ;D]

Fantails are best making sure its well trained,from hand to trap ,straight in only.

we have 2 fantails they do a grand job

I use garden fantails, which are used to having a fly then sitting on the loft so i make sure they are out about an hour befote birds are due, I keep my fantails in with young birds they are good for learning youngsters to eat etc and the young birds get to know them, i also have a couple of westies but would never use for trappers they like flying too much,

would parlour rollers work well seeing as they don't fly?
