Mr Yorkie Posted June 8, 2008 Report Posted June 8, 2008 Can any fanciers shed any light on why we had such a poor race from Thurso yesterday? We sent 18 birds and had 4 home on the day and none to press this morning. Speaking to other faniers last night birds were very few and far between with about most fanciers having about 80% of their birds missing. Reports seem it was good up the North East of England coast but if fanciers down the East Coast of Scotland could let us know if it was fit for racing it would be much appreciated.
REDCHEQHEN Posted June 8, 2008 Report Posted June 8, 2008 It was not good in Redcar - we had fog all day yesterday and was totally overcast- visiblity was very poor could have been better inland - I didn't venture out - but Friday - inland was even worse than the coast
