thunderboult
have to agree these so called nationals are geographicaly challenged and dont have enough clock / marking stations i believe they all should be scrapped of there national status as its miss leading and not accessable by all untill they create more stations and be represented by all areas there just a glorified federation , its about time we did have a true national , but to those who reap the publicity and win these jumped up feds they would cringe at them been accessable by all i also disagree about the feds part, most feds are just corridor flying all to one area, the bicc+bbc have birds from all over the uk and i think most of the people who have a go would like to see more fancier's taking part. i do wish there was more marking stations . but even the national flying club have no marking stations in wales . i also think the birds that fly in these nationals/internationals are generally a more reliable bird . swilcox
The pigeon i showed you was a racing cock that won 1st against 37,239b at 660 miles, he was fast because he had flown through darkness. Most of my racing birds have an eye like the first and the breeders closer to the second. Whats your view on this eye??

Guest kev d
hi albear , how you getting your birds to the marking station for the bbc
Guest
Hi Albear, but with the BBC and BICC going together I think all us distance guys and gals should do our utmost to support. why should we ?the last time i was sending to barcelona, they switch basketing to monday unstead of sunday,at very short notice, destroying working men fanciers chances. this was supposed to be a working class sport, but the more i see ,those days seem long gone, basketing rules, clock rules ect, certainly favour other type of people. level playing field,my a** Because if we don't we put another nail in the coffin of long distance racing. By that I mean 500/700 mile. I can't compete because the BICC is a specialist east of England club from my perspective. Though I appreciate the Welsh boys are balancing it up. But as an ordinary fancier I haven't the resource to compete in the Internationals cause I can't get/afford to get my birds to the marking stations/clock stations. If the BBC and BICC , merged we could have the marking facilities. So the more of us that compete together may give the impetus to sink the egos of those that are jealous of their club and do what's best for all fanciers. Ortherwise I'd like to see the NFC fly the Internationals.
