Hi all, was hoping someone could advise me a little, first 2 races i sent to flying natural, did very well 2nd club first week, 1st,2nd,3rd club second week, and first fed, 3rd week was near last 8 mins behind and this week near last 10 mins behind, noticed this week they werent keen on trapping! so i have taken the hens away yesterday, have they got bored of being on natural? will a week be long enough to get them on widowhood? have been training alot with them as they just wont fly much around home on natural, any tips/advise would be great, as im scratching my head here. thanks

What have you changed since the great race of the 2nd week?

1.Added something to the food or water perhaps?

2.Changed to new food perhaps?

3.Left something out that you were using before perhaps?

4.Maybe they got infected on the transporter?

dont think ive changed anything? only the wind has gone from the east to west, but wouldnt make 10 minutes worth of difference, and im sure there still in perfect health, as surely all my birds wouldnt have picked something up in the basket, and the others in the club be fine? and they were bouncing around when they come on saturday! didnt want to land, never looked like they had been anywhere, my 2nd and third pigeon landed then flew off together for 3 mins, was pulling my hair out, but was miles behind by then.

As they are on the natural system perhaps the first couple of weeks they were in the nesting condition that suited them,by this week eggs would be hatched,or youngsters would be a lot older, perhaps you need to get them in the same nesting condition as the first couple of weeks.
