bird man of meath Posted June 8, 2009 Report Posted June 8, 2009 Never had crows attack my birds. I like crows around my loft area actually cause they always chase the BOP same here i put food out for them every time BOP turns up they see it off
Guest MOSAIC2009 Posted June 8, 2009 Report Posted June 8, 2009 same here i put food out for them every time BOP turns up they see it off they crows used to do that aswell but when the bop not there it decides it likes to eat pigeons
Guest IB Posted June 9, 2009 Report Posted June 9, 2009 Think if a choice between trap or shoot, in a built-up area it would be safer to trap; guns and neighbours don't mix very well, and as far as I know, you can only shoot the bird if it's on your land, if it's next door's, you need their permission. Mines was on a lamp post outside my garden. It's riddled, crow wasn't. Thank goodness my efforts never made Youtube, me blind and crow stupid, this thing actually ducked, must have heard the .22 slugs whiz past it??? Close, but not close enough. But it didn't fly off?? Single shot no use to me, it's a laser-sighted gatling gun I need, according to my clubmates.
Guest MOSAIC2009 Posted June 9, 2009 Report Posted June 9, 2009 So do you think the neighbours will approve of a larsen trap on there roof
Roland Posted June 9, 2009 Report Posted June 9, 2009 They won't refuse /resiste an egg.... syringed with a tasty extra.
