vanreets Posted July 26, 2009 Report Posted July 26, 2009 hi i am moving some of my racers too a diffenrt loft as the one they were in had stock birds in so could not be let out that much how long do i need to keep them in too there new loft before they fly and by the way there new loft is 10ft away from there old loft

Make sure they cannot gain access to the old loft and that they are not fed before they are let out and just encourage them in with a bit of conditioning seed. Pigeons learn very quickly

Pigeons learn very quickly Agree there mate, one thing I would do if your in no rush to move them for a couple of days,leave the door open on their new loft and tempt them in with a few peanuts that way they know it's safe to go in and out . Pigeons learn very quickly I agree,they should be fine.I done the same last year,only had problems with one cock,but he eventually got hungry...

Pigeons learn very quickly ok i will let them out on tuesday there was no ponit in moving the stock as i have 3 flying and the rest are stock
