just ask me Posted August 25, 2009 Report Posted August 25, 2009 think u would still have to catch the birds and pass them over the pad
PIGEON_MAN Posted August 25, 2009 Report Posted August 25, 2009 hi can u fly though a open door when using e.t.s as im thinking of buy one unikon i like the sound of up to now 8) Would be a waste of time because you would still have to catch the bird and pass it over the pad, unless you,ve got that much money you could have a pad in each nestbox.
Guest triballofts Posted August 25, 2009 Report Posted August 25, 2009 i would love to buy an ets but we are not aloud them in my club :o
bombersbullets Posted August 25, 2009 Author Report Posted August 25, 2009 i would love to buy an ets but we are not aloud them in my club :o I'm sure if 2 members want it there is nothing they can do RPRA rules just check it though. 8)

Guest triballofts Posted August 25, 2009 Report Posted August 25, 2009 get rid of club ;D hi Pete if i do there will be nowhere to fly
THE FIFER Posted August 25, 2009 Report Posted August 25, 2009 yes we have a member who uses open door with his ets, without catching,
Guest puresoontjen Posted August 25, 2009 Report Posted August 25, 2009 i think your best option is to see the y/b season out. and then put a sputnik up and train them for the yearling to go in and out. and put the ETS under it.
crizmor13 Posted August 25, 2009 Report Posted August 25, 2009 hi they say if anyone bring it down the club they will all regsin so i have no chance pity thats not right at all.
Guest peter.j Posted August 25, 2009 Report Posted August 25, 2009 surely ets pad in open doorway pigeon has to pass over pad to go thru open door there fore clocked inside confines of loft as per union rules
Guest IB Posted August 25, 2009 Report Posted August 25, 2009 Previous threads on here the preference has been to catch the bird and 'swipe' it over the pad. I have ets with open door but it is an unusual set-up with birds flying directly into an aviary and landing right at a floor-level ets trap that gives them access to the whole loft. I follow the birds in through the open door to make sure they go through the ets trap right away. The previous post about a pad in the open doorway wouldn't work. It has limited range so the bird flying over would probably not record - it must walk over the pad to ensure a time-in.
Taylorsloft Posted August 25, 2009 Report Posted August 25, 2009 hi they say if anyone bring it down the club they will all regsin so i have no chance pity just bring it down the club :X :X and see how many leave

Guest Grasshopper Lofts Posted August 25, 2009 Report Posted August 25, 2009 [/color]Even if they have quartz clocks they still have to use thimbles. i though a rule was passed quartz users could go thimbless at there own risk
Guest peter.j Posted August 25, 2009 Report Posted August 25, 2009 clocks with 6figure serials can its nowt to do with quartz
PIGEON_MAN Posted August 25, 2009 Report Posted August 25, 2009 i though a rule was passed quartz users could go thimbless at there own risk Depends what clock you have t3s you can use without thimbles and some Stb,s you can also use.
