pigeonpete Posted February 18, 2010 Report Posted February 18, 2010 Well my racers have not been out for 2 months now since they have been paired up, most of them chipping out now, But my Son is keen as hell!!!! And feel a bit behind with mine lol, he has been having his team of 16 latebreds out every day after school, And this week half term he has had them out twice a day morning and afternoon and there doing 40 mins each outing!!!! he cleans them out every day, his section is nice and clean, mines a muck heap!! He is doing my wifes head in having to take him down there twice a day!!! since telford show he has never shut up about pigeons!!! (hope it continues) But i handled a couple of them yesterday, and they felt fit. He is already betting with me on beating me every week, I told him my champions dont need to go out yet!!! lol. But yes im worried!! but will be great fun, cant wait :-)

ALF Posted February 18, 2010 Report Posted February 18, 2010 Still not had mine out this year but i might pair the racers up this weekend if the weather isnae too bad but i have been running the pairs in spare sections for 2-3 days at a time to get them used to eachother so we'll see how it goes :D :X :X Might start letting them out once they are paired about a week just to make sure the cocks get a chance to tread the hens
