I had the same problem on my 1st toss some years ago lost half my team and that was at 12miles, one returned 12months later mint condition. some things are unexplainable
ritchie1 Posted March 28, 2010 Report Posted March 28, 2010 took my yearings to 20 mile toss yesterday first toss all back no problem so three more tosses before race day and i will be happy
DJWa Posted March 28, 2010 Report Posted March 28, 2010 1 back this morning injured looks like its going to be another one of those years with a loft full of crocks 3 more back so not looking so bad now

All abouot where you want to be in the summer when it matters Spot on, training just now will give benifits in the early races but the birds will be finished before 250miles. I race widowhood and love to win the early races but mine will not get a toss until the temprature is up, i like it to 12 degrees min for early training and train around 13.00 - 14.00 when the temp is at its hottest.
