kev43, what ever you are doing, you should keep doing. It is fairly unusual for the cocks to be in that sort of condition at this time of the year. I hope you do not mind me saying, but do not show the hen too much, it would spoil what you have built up.

u dont need alot of training if they exersizing like that 2 or 3 short tosses just to remind them wat the basket is and u be fine i think you feeding to heavy to early so they peaking in middle of week where as u need them peaking on a sat the best way to solve this is to feed barley sat sun mon and ull see the differance and your result will change

100% OWEN yes maybe a wee bit early in the season for me but kev says most are yearlings i think hes got it spot on will get a good 6/7 weeks from them if he thinks they are good now wait till a few weeks from now if he doesnt change/pick up anything they will be bursting the sky,s up

kev dont listen to these guys that say they will burn themselfs out  ,what flying for an hour -hour and half  morn and night( poppycock ),this to me is only an indication that they are A1 mate ,all they need to do is learn the system ,as you said its mostly yearlings so they will learn just watch in a week or two .DONT CHANGE A THING ,except no flying friday . good luck mate .

??) ??) ??) ??) yearlings over excited, will burn oot in no time, long before the raceing, JMO, keep doing what yer doing, and if you feel there is a change in there behavour, when there oot for the excercise, and arent doing there normal, sling a couple owe hens oot ti gee them up, they will come back into form for the raceing.  ;)

well still behind mayb i didnt giv hens long enuf bit behind but when they come they came n 3,s n 4,s were all bk in ne time  :-/ :-/ :-/

 

well there flying fer an hour they must be right ..................... i think a few slight changes and they'd have a little more to give on the race day ;)
