Guest Paulo Posted April 13, 2010 Report Posted April 13, 2010 well a club you race aginst the members of your club normally about 12 members. A fed you race against members of other clubs in your fed radius. For example say a fed is four clubs with average of 10 members about 40 fliers your competing against. A combine or amal is made up of all the clubs and feds and you compete against all these members in combine races such as the longer inland and all water races. A combine can be very big or not so big for example the Up North Combine is massive and covers a huge area and you are flying against a ton of people getting the bird in the 10 100 is a good achievement. Topping it is better than anything is this world.
pigeonpete Posted April 13, 2010 Report Posted April 13, 2010 what is meant by fed and combine :-/ :-/ suppose it can vary from county to county, but here, you got your club, then your fed, the the combine, is the feds in that radius :-)

YEA,,we flew a cock from lillers in 2001 season and were 15th combine out ov 17,899 birds and that was a buzz so i can imagine what the feeling wd b if we had ov topped the combine that day we could ov if the wind wasnt against us as many said if the wind was in our favour we could ov possibly topped the combine that day
