thats what the vet recommended and seems to work fine for us

maybe your mites work out a bit more than our do :)

Everything in Scotland bites harder, especially the west coast midges, thanks guys :)

Today I was speaking to a guy that breeds rats for the snakes, he uses it in the water only one drop per 1.5litre and he can give it even when they are nursing :-/

dont waste ur money get chlorcarb for about £5-£6 in powder form sachet.

put it in a bucket of water and dip ur birds...u wont have lice/mites for months.

ive used this for a few years and it is a1.

its a treatment for red mite but is used by many fanciers.

try meditechuk. they advertise  ivermectine as One Spot.

£8.50 enough to treat 50 birds, so they say. They have it

for sale on line and they also advertise in Homing World.

Duncan i get it from cupar vets, but it costa £28.00. Its concerning me that its a lot cheaper elsewhere. I,ll need to look into it, but the ivermectim i get is great for worms and mites.

The reason we want it as opposed to dipping them it will do our birds, chickens, guinnae pigs, rabbits, Chickadee and the kids, as apart from the pigeons the rest avoid the bath ;D ;D ;D
