I thought feather rot was fungal (so ivermectin would be of no use )

 

wrong   a mite  ;)

ivermectin  just the same, one spot gone  ;)

 

This has been reoccurring for the past few years in my mates loft and he is beginning to lose heart. He has tried ivermectin on a few occasions but has had no result. This only happens to his birds during the earlier part of the year ( spring / summer).

yep it works but you need a pair of tweezer  if you want the feathers to grow in quick,  just pull  the stuble out  with the twezzers its hard to see them at times the stuble very short ;D
