hi, ive tried a few things to keep these away!! drops under perches etc. what is the best way?

what are they mate? ar they the same as crop mite? i had these early in the year when i was on deep litter, pain to get rid of, but then ive used ivomec, not had and passengers since!!  :-)

I thought I knew most things but I have to confess, I have never heard of either Bull Mites or Crop Mites. What the dickens are they?

ok im going to do a routine of ivomec once a month, drops in the dung trays, and cider vinegar in the bath!! i hate any sort of mite!!!

one drop of ivomec on the back of the neck keeps them clear of mites for 6 months

there just feather lice ivomec, them . bye the way you do get bull and crop mite but ivomec will do them as well.

the long ones that come off on your t-shirt are quil lice.
quill mites are the ones you find laying along stock of quill they dont come of on your t shirt,

just picking up on this DUNG TRAY'S , ? are you seeing mite's in the dung tray's or

 

                                                         are they a black mite/tick , when gorged with blood ,

                                                        right at the root of the quill where it enter's the wing ?

na no mite in trays! i just put the drops there

eqvalan perfect for that sort of problem it comes in a tube like syeringe the dose is marked on it it is a bit of a pest to liquify it is like sticky tooth paste i use the wifes kenwood chef to  liquify it  remember to give the mixer a good clean after you are finished very good  product

IVE TRIED THE DROPS AND USED VAN VERMANEX DROPS FROM VANHEE IVE STILL GOT THE BULLHEAD LICE, I ALSO USE CIDER VINEGAR IN THE DRINKER AND IN THE BATH,WHAT DOES DEFO WORK AS JUST BACK FROM HOLIDAY AND NOTICED TO MANY ON MY PIGEONS.

ivomec won,t be any use in these dung trays use a cotton bud and dab on the back of the neck get some van vermin ex and use this in your baskets and in your nest bowls and perches

i use a drop fron van hee or something in the trays! it has cleared them up anyway
