retired Posted March 23, 2010 Report Posted March 23, 2010 Think its been said before but i would enthunaise the birds remaining as its looking apparent the problem has spread. Is there any pigeon fanciers near you that even race and keep bonafide racing pigeons and not just streeters as this would be your most suitable source as the birds they have will hopefully be in a healthier state.

mamun2a Posted March 23, 2010 Author Report Posted March 23, 2010 TOTALLY AGREE KILL THE LOT START FRESH STREETERS ARE FLYING DISEASES SIMPLE AS my boss is graduated from NCUT. well i dont want to let them die. i feel they r OK by comments of the Dr. i'll try. not all of them are from hawker, this pixured one is from professional seller, i believe him.
Guest strapper Posted March 23, 2010 Report Posted March 23, 2010 it seems that you are having a few problems..i would look at your hygiene with the birds. as medication should be cheaper there then it is here you have no trouble getting hold of it. do not put new birds into your own untill say after a week of quarentine.
pigeonpete Posted March 23, 2010 Report Posted March 23, 2010 from the problems you have had, think they have gone past treatment, You would be happier in the long run, if you got rid, totally sterelised there home, and start again, from relaible source. :-)
Roland Posted March 23, 2010 Report Posted March 23, 2010 Had a young streeter come in twice, then hanged around for the next day etc. Looked a picture. No two ways about that, it was in fine fettle. Probably from a mating of a couple of mine - lost a few - that took up lodgings in the dialect Cinema over the road. Yes has a few well bred youngsters took off and stayed there and that's for sure. Thought about cleaning it up and letting it be a 'Watch out' bird. But it waqs the 'Disease element' that made me forget it. Haven't seen it of late, but then again the birds aren't out much.

Im afraid illalso agree with this!! i no its wil be hard to kill all your brds but when you do!! give the loft a good scrape ( every inch of loft ) and give a good disinfectant!! then try get in a few new birds and start fresh because if you keep gettin new birds it will porb get worse im afraid!! but all the best!
