sapper756 Posted May 20, 2007 Report Posted May 20, 2007 What exactly does putting this onto feed do for the birds?
Guest Posted May 20, 2007 Report Posted May 20, 2007 Think it used as a supplement, follow link for composition. Note that this ad talks about a dead yeast, but my understanding is the stuff we use is usually live yeast. Only warning I know on its use is that you never feed 'yeast on yeast', so if any bird has a yeast infection like candida, feeding brewers yeast is likely to worsen the condition. http://www.parktonks.co.uk/?/animal/nutritional/yeasts/brewers_yeast.htm
Guest Posted May 20, 2007 Report Posted May 20, 2007 according to armand scheers a teaspoonful of brewers yeast is better than a lorry load of all the other vitamins ,bang on bruno ,to all those who feed black minerals you should also add some brewers yeast to them you dont need to put it on the feeding all the time ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Guest Posted May 20, 2007 Report Posted May 20, 2007 Excelent for enhancing show condition, for extra sparkle mix in the corn and add alittle lemon juice to make it stick, let it dry and feed a few hours later.Only use the lemon occassionally as it does hype them up,rest of the time you can add alittle cod liver oil to make it stick to the corn.I use colombine B pure once or twice a week.
batusai Posted May 21, 2007 Report Posted May 21, 2007 how bout the brewers years tablet? whats the correct use for that? batusai1

Back garden fancier Posted May 17, 2008 Report Posted May 17, 2008 My birds have a yeast infection, is it from the Gemthepax? Or has that made it worse? Also what harm does a yeast infection do, my birds look spot on. The infection was only picked up by rutine testing.
