Books on testing droppings

Hi ive just bought a microscope and wondered if there are any books out there that shows you how to examine pigeon droppings for cocci,canker,worms etc etc.any info would be appreciated,i would rarther test the birds rarther than to treat blindly.

I also have Colin Walkers Book - but prefer the above - better value for money if its just the microscope use you are after

hi if u go to the chevita site and go to symptoms ...theres a page there which u can save, it has every symptom that birds can get with cures and medication its like a medical case book...hope this helps....paul.

(1) Noticed Brunel Microscopes offering a microscope + kit in Friday's BHW.

 

Dropped them an email asking if they sold the kit without a microscope, this is their reply:-

I bought the microscope course at blackpool from David G Parsons stand, its all in writing and photos along with a dvd, so very interesting telling you how to go about using and how and what to look for, also got the testing gear, so will have a go soon,also shows you how to take a swab and test for canker,
