I've been noticing that one of my modena's had diarrhea.

The colour is fine and i can see that it eating and the weight is ok (could be a bit heavier).

Theres so many products out there i'm not sure what to choose, although i would prefer to use a natural remedy - ie garlic

I was planning to give them worm tablets all this weekend.

Can you please advise as i'm a novice.

i would seperate it from ur other birds, and would not give it worming tablets until u fix othe ailment, have u changed ur feeding etc, make sure it gets water feeding would not matter for a couple of days,

have u changed ur feeding etc?

I've changed to a better food mix that does not contain loads of wheat.

Faire Pay - how many days should i give the coke?

My mate gave me "old hand's" White Sesqui for going light. Last summer.

Should i use it?

not if they are not losing weight you could try feeding an electrolyte from the chemist if your feed had a lot of wheat in it this could have caused the loose droppings

Could be down to a change of feeding - I'd be inclined to isolate the pigeon and give either garlic (first choice) or cider vinegar in the drinking water, and just keep an eye on it for 48-72 hours. Would expect droppings to return to normal by then.

Try this as i know that it works on humans so has to be worth a try on pigeons ;) ;) 8) 8) 8)

Got that straight from the vet a number of years ago when i took the dog to get a check up she had a really bad case of the runs and bleeding I thought he was kidding but told me then it worked on humans, animals and birds just get rid of the gas. Feed till droppings start to firm up and keep on light feed - nothing that's hard to digest.

Are you feeding grit ?

wheat will definatly give runs shouldnt be more than 10% max
