Novice Posted March 3, 2010 Report Posted March 3, 2010 It used to be the ministry of agriculture in lasswade but i dont know if thats still on the go? The vet college would have been Scottish Agricultural College at Auchincruive. I believe they do preliminary work there and then send samples to Penicuick Diagnostics. I believe that to be the name but cannot be sure. It's a long while since I used the service. I believe they like to have the carcus as fresh as possible---actually they prefer a living bird.
Guest IB Posted March 3, 2010 Report Posted March 3, 2010 Think it's the Royal Dick, part of Edinburgh University, that you are thinking of, link gives a list of prices, but nothing quoted for birds. http://www.ed.ac.uk/schools-departments/vet/services/pathology/necropsy
