The Bug that is affecting some members & many others in West Lothian & surrounding areas is confirmed by the MAF as PARAMYXO - not Ciro Virus as published in some of the media.

The people who went through the correct proceedure

to have their birds checked out with the Top Vets have had the results back in "writing" to confirm the bug and the steps that have to be applied.

If all fanciers had done the right thing many weeks ago a lot of pigeons could have been saved.

The facts are if you cannot afford to vaccinate then just give up the Sport, for the sake of the birds & fellow fanciers.

As it stands at the moments things have now settled and the needle is working overtime - maybe a bit late !

I think it is a mutation of Paramyxo, the guy in our club who lost 130 birds with had his old birds jabbed but they still got it!
