Guest IB Posted April 23, 2009 Report Posted April 23, 2009 ian are you saying that a fancier that has seen something wrong with birds should still send with all the clubs/fed birds i dont think thats the way to go better seperated and wait till all is ok no matter how trival it might seem thats what spreads all sosts through the feds if in doubt leave them out!! Hi Frank, glad to see you back on - I think ;D I think it is a judgement call; the member has all the 'OK' boxes ticked except 1, watery droppings. We are at the start of the season, short races, 2 hours tops. Is the bird fit for the job in hand? If not, simple it doesn't go. But if it is not going because there is / could be something wrong with it, then not only does it not go, the others can't go either, because taking your view, then something could well be working on the others too. Judgement call. All go, or none?
Guest Posted April 23, 2009 Report Posted April 23, 2009 ian thanks for the wellcome i can see your thinking about the judgement call but the birds are still in the basket together for the same time as say 250/300ml race and as you say its the short races better to leave them all at home if any doubt about any of them for you and every one else its bad enough when fanciers send birds to races and they dont know anything is wrong without thinking somrthing might be going on and still sending only my view better to be safe than sory its only 1 race

aye ready Posted April 23, 2009 Report Posted April 23, 2009 frank r u trying to lose ur newbie status ur fingers must be red hot(happy)(happy)
Guest Posted April 23, 2009 Report Posted April 23, 2009 yes martin but members might still think i talk sh--- for a sprog :-/
Delboy Posted April 23, 2009 Report Posted April 23, 2009 I think excitement and nervous energy could be the cause for the watery droppings as only 2 of the team are affected. Try mating these 2 cocks up as they may not be suitable for widowhood :-/
