Guest j v ward Posted October 3, 2009 Report Posted October 3, 2009 i lost a late bred 12days ago got it back today in abox the man that fetcht it back told me it had gone down his chmney 12days ago been at back of his gas fire no water or food it can still fly up on pertch

oldguy Posted October 4, 2009 Report Posted October 4, 2009 a while ago one of mine dropped down a neighbours chimney and he found it 10 days later, it was a little dusty but appeared ok and was flying within a couple of days or so. It bred a few youngsters this summer then only a few weeks ago a local cat got into the loft although it couldnt actually reach the birds due to safety mesh, the above mentioned bird was dead a week later, ............ kev
