Guest Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 I don't use it in the breeding loft at all Carol, as you said too much waste as I change the drinkers at least twice a day, I buy the cheapest I can find at Safeway and put three scoops to a gallon of water.

jimmy white Posted January 16, 2007 Report Posted January 16, 2007 I am sure Vic Taylor of Sherfin corn used it on the PEANUT POWER he sold over 30 years ago. I hace also heard of people using it but had trouble regarding it going sour. It must be good stuff if fed at the right time. I can also remember Fred Parkinson of Ushaw Moor giving his birds Goats Milk in the drinker. Don't ask me what kind of goat as it was over 40 years ago. I definately know it was not called Billy. i think it was billy the kid,, alf ;D ;D ;D,,,, heard of them mixing peanut butter with grub for distance
jimmy white Posted January 16, 2007 Report Posted January 16, 2007 tin of milk i have now is sma white [named after me ;D] more satisfying for hungrier babies,,,,,,,infant milk 1 when moving from or to complement breast feeding. 2. if baby is not being breast fed. 3. helps support immunity. 4.helps brain and eye developement ;D ;D well, it says that on the tin ;D ;D [going to try some myself now ;D ;D ;D for no 4 only ;D ;D]
Guest Posted January 16, 2007 Report Posted January 16, 2007 hey jimmy does it say on the tin for over sixties, lmao.
jimmy white Posted January 18, 2007 Report Posted January 18, 2007 ;D ;D ;D ;D must be breast fed,,,sammy ;D ;D ;D
mac1 Posted February 21, 2007 Report Posted February 21, 2007 hi just looking for some advice ive heard alot on here that some fanciers use babys milk when feeding young, how much do you put in gallon of water thanks
Seanthecamman Posted February 21, 2007 Report Posted February 21, 2007 Never heard of using baby milk but you learn something everyday on this forum! I use show pigeon mix or young bird mix(like those because its all wee seeds in the bag) just put some in luke warm water leave it for about an hour to moisten it then feed until there crops are full then give them a drink. sean

jimmy white Posted February 22, 2007 Report Posted February 22, 2007 i have found it excellent when feeding young , even a tablespoon in the water, their not long in drinking that when feeding
stevebelbin Posted March 1, 2007 Report Posted March 1, 2007 Its good stuff Mac1, I used it last year, and will be doing this year too. Just one scoop to 2litres is ample
BIGK Posted March 1, 2007 Report Posted March 1, 2007 Ive been using it this year but not in the water, ive been putting it on the corn, moistened with gemthepax and then a couple of teaspoon fulls mixed in. I havent put it in the water cos i want them to drink the water and anything that may deter them from drinking should be avoided
paddymac Posted March 1, 2007 Report Posted March 1, 2007 Is there a particular brand to use or just any of the most popular ones. :-/ :-/
